Horseback Riding & Lunch with Local Family (Half-day)

Itinerary:

• The adventure will start at our Choquequirao Guest House where your guide and horses will be ready at 8:30 AM.  This half day tour will take you through the community of Pantipata, along our way you will learn about local Quechua families life style. Your guide will show you how farmers grow organic fruits and vegetables, many of which are endemic, and also raise livestock. We will take a relaxing break to enjoy the ancient royal Inca drink "Chicha," a refreshing low-alcohol fermented corn beverage. Around 11:00 AM we will arrive at our host family’s home to visit their organic garden and enjoy a Quechua local meal. Following lunch, we will make your way back to our Choquequirao Guest House and return by 1:00 PM.
